Terms of Use

1. Service

TapToVideo uses AI models to create a short video from an uploaded photo and a short description. Free use includes 1 videoin total, plus 1 more with a free account; it does not renew daily. Some effects (Rap Duo, Bulin 47 and Hug) are credits only and are not part of the free use. There is no entitlement to a particular quality, a particular result or constant availability.

2. Your obligations

  • You only upload photos you hold the necessary rights to.
  • You only use photos of recognisable people with their consent.
  • You do not create sexual, violent, insulting or illegal content, or content that deceives others or infringes their rights. The full list of prohibited content and how we enforce it is in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.
  • All videos are AI-generated. You do not present them as real footage of real events or pass them off as made by a human.
  • You do not try to bypass the free limit or the security check, or use the service in an automated way.

3. Content and responsibility

You are responsible for the photos you upload, your descriptions and how you use the generated videos. AI results can be flawed or unexpected. We may refuse requests or restrict access if these terms are violated.

4. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability for the free service is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

5. Accounts, credits and payment

  • An account is optional for free videos. It is required for HD videos and videos paid with credits. Keep your login details private.
  • Credit packs are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and expire after that. Credits are only used when a video starts; if the creation fails or a photo is rejected, they are returned.
  • The number of credits a video costs is shown before you create it. It may change, for example when our AI providers change their prices. Credits that have already been used are not affected.
  • Payments are processed by Waffo, which acts as merchant of record: Waffo sells the credit packs to you and handles payment, invoices and sales tax. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you buy.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • If you have not used any credits from a pack, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • We close accounts that seriously break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy; credits already used are not refunded in that case.

6. How your video is made

  • Your photo and description are sent to our AI service provider Kie.ai, which creates the video with an AI model. Uploaded photos are deleted after 24 hours.
  • Every uploaded photo and every generated video goes through an automatic safety check before it is used or shown. If something is blocked, nothing is shown to you and any credits used are returned.
  • We do not publish your photos or videos. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
