Make a photo dance with AI
This AI dance video generator turns a single photo into a short dancing clip. Upload a picture of yourself, a friend, or even your dog or cat, choose a dance style, and the AI animates the photo so the person or animal starts to move to the beat. The face and outfit stay as they are in your photo, so it still looks like the same person, only dancing.
You do not need any video, motion capture or dance skills. One photo is enough. That makes it a quick way to create a funny clip for a birthday message, a group chat, or a short video on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
How to create an AI dance video
It works in your browser on phone and desktop, and no account is needed for the free videos.
- Upload a photo of a person or a pet. Full-body photos give the best dance moves.
- Choose a style: Hip hop, Viral trend, Slow sway or Pet dance.
- Complete the quick security check and click Create video.
- After about 30 to 60 seconds, watch your dance video and download it as an MP4.
Four dance styles
Hip hop gives energetic moves with confident arm and leg motion and a big smile. It is the most dynamic style and looks best with a full-body photo.
Viral trend creates a catchy short-video dance with rhythmic steps, hand moves and a playful pose at the end, the kind of routine you know from social media.
Slow sway is calm and graceful: gentle arm movements and slow swaying, while the camera moves a little closer. It suits portraits, wedding photos and older pictures you want to bring to life in a soft way.
Pet dance is made for animals. Your dog, cat or rabbit stands up on its hind legs and bounces to the music. Results vary with the photo, but they are almost always funny.
Tips for the best dance videos
The quality of the dance depends a lot on the photo. These points make a big difference:
- Use a full-body photo where arms and legs are visible. If the photo is cut at the waist, the AI can only move the upper body.
- Leave some space around the person, so the moves do not run out of the frame.
- Pick a photo with one person. Group photos often lead to confusing motion.
- A plain or calm background keeps the focus on the dance.
- For pets, a photo where the animal stands or sits clearly in view works better than one where it is curled up asleep.
Please use photos with permission
Making a funny dance video of yourself, your pet, or a friend who is in on the joke is the whole idea. Please do not upload photos of other people without their permission, and do not use the videos to mock, harass or deceive anyone. Photos with nudity are not allowed and are blocked by the AI model.
Free videos and credits
Every visitor gets 2 free videos per day at 480p and 4 seconds. There is no watermark on the result, and a failed attempt does not count towards your daily limit, because you did not get a video.
Credit packs for more videos and HD clips at 720p with 8 seconds are launching soon, starting at 1,000 credits for $9.90. They will be one-time payments, not a subscription, and credits will never expire.
What happens to your photo
Your photo is sent to the AI model only to create your video. Uploaded photos are deleted after 24 hours, and we never publish your photos or videos anywhere. The finished clip is yours to download as an MP4 file.
