What is the Hotel Lobby AI video trend?
The Hotel Lobby trend took over feeds in September 2026. It is named after "Hotel Lobby", the 2022 song by Quavo and Takeoff of Migos, released as the duo Unc & Phew, and their live performance of it on A COLORS SHOW: a minimal orange booth, one microphone hanging from the ceiling, no crowd and no props. Creators now recreate that look with AI and put themselves, a friend or their pets in the orange booth.
Some people also know it as the "Migos AI video" or the "Migos Hotel Lobby AI" trend. It is the same trend, and this page makes it. This tool is not made by or affiliated with Migos, Quavo, Takeoff or A COLORS SHOW.
This generator makes your version from ordinary photos. It creates a new vertical video in that style with an original beat. It does not copy or edit the original performance video, and it does not include the song.
How to make a Hotel Lobby AI video
You can try it right away, no account needed.
- Choose your cast: Solo for one person, Duet for two people, or Pet duet for two pets.
- Upload one clear photo per performer. For Duet and Pet duet, the first photo goes on the left and the second on the right.
- Confirm you have permission and click Create video. After about a minute, watch your vertical clip with its beat as a free preview, then download it in HD with credits.

Solo, Duet or Pet duet
Duet is the classic: two people side by side in the glowing orange booth, trading lines into the hanging microphone while the other one nods to the beat. Pair people for the joke: best friends, siblings, you and your grandma, two coworkers.
Solo puts you alone at the mic, rapping with confidence and leaning in on the punchlines. It is the quickest way to try the trend when you do not have a friend's photo at hand.
Pet duet is the version people share the most: two cats, a cat and a dog, or two dogs sitting at the mic and bobbing their heads to the beat. Upload one photo per pet and let them steal the show.
Photos that give the best take
The AI keeps the faces and fur from your photos, so the photo matters more than anything else. A few things make the biggest difference:
- One performer per photo, facing the camera, in good light.
- Avoid sunglasses, hats that shade the face and group photos.
- For pets, show the eyes and the fur markings clearly, on a simple background.
- Only use photos of people who agreed. Celebrity and public figure photos are blocked.
- Results vary a little each time. If a take is not right, run it again.
Hotel lobby trend prompts
You do not need to write a prompt on this page: every mode already has one built in. If you want to recreate the trend in another AI video tool, these are close to the prompts we use. Describe the room first, then the motion.
- Duet: "Two people stand side by side in a minimal studio booth with smooth glowing orange walls and one microphone hanging from the ceiling between them. They trade rap lines, one leans in while the other nods to the beat. Static camera, warm orange light, vertical video."
- Solo: "One person raps into the hanging microphone in a glowing orange booth, nodding to the beat and leaning in on the punchlines."
- Pet duet: "Two pets sit side by side in front of the hanging microphone in an orange booth and bob their heads to the beat, one leans toward the mic as if rapping."
How your Hotel Lobby video is made
For Duet and Pet duet, your two photos are placed side by side in your browser and sent as one image; for Solo, your photo is used directly. An image model first creates a new vertical picture of your cast in the orange booth, keeping faces, hair, outfits and fur as close to your photos as it can.
A video model then animates that picture and generates the sound at the same time: the performers move to the beat, lean into the mic and react to each other. The whole process usually takes about a minute.
About the music
Every Hotel Lobby clip is generated with an original instrumental hip-hop beat, so you do not need to add music yourself. The beat is new for each video and has no vocals or lyrics.
It is not the original Hotel Lobby song and it does not copy any artist's voice. If you post on TikTok or Instagram, you can still pick a trending sound in the app instead.
Posting your Hotel Lobby video
Clips come out in vertical 9:16, so they fit TikTok, Reels and Shorts without cropping. Add a caption about who is rapping and post it as it is.
Free clips are 4 seconds long, which is enough for one moment at the mic. HD clips are 8 seconds and leave room for a full back and forth.
Free videos and credits
Every visitor gets 1 free video at 480p and 4 seconds with no sign-up, and a free account adds 1 more. It is a one-time allowance that does not reset every day. Free videos are a preview you watch on the page, with a small TapToVideo.com watermark. To download a video, make it with credits: those videos have no watermark and download as an MP4. A failed attempt does not count towards your free videos, because you did not get a video.
If you want more, create a free account and buy a credit pack. A 480p clip costs 50 credits once your free videos are used up, and an HD clip at 720p with 8 seconds costs 80 credits. The smallest pack is 1,000 credits for $9.90, enough for about 20 videos of this effect. Credits last 12 months and are only taken when a video starts; if the AI fails, they go back to your balance automatically.
Your photos and our independence
